The Coen Brothers are riding high after their Oscar win for No Country for Old Men. And they should be. No Country is now one of our favorite flicks of all time and we're surprised that they didn't sit back and ponder their next project longer. Nope! They just gathered a few friends and made another movie.
And by "friends" we mean Brat Pitt, George Clooney, John Malkovich, and Frances McDormand. The movie is "Burn After Reading" and follows the story of a dimwitted gym trainer (Pitt) who finds a secret CIA disc and wants to blackmail the agent who lost it.
It's hard to put into words how much (or why) we love the Coen Bros. so much but it can probably be summed up with the odd humor and view of the world that the Brothers have. For example, in the Burn After Reading Red Band Trailer below we see Pitt and McDormand trying to sell the CD to the Russians. They give the disk to the Russian guy who then asks "Is it for a PC or Mac?"
Because, you know, espionage isn't Mac compatible. (hat tip to Jordan for the trailer)
