Eli and Archie Manning celebrate the Giants winOur fellow UT Vol Alum Peyton Manning will be sitting at home (just like us) watching the Super Bowl this year. However, his teenie, tiny little brother Eli has baffled us all and taken his team, the Giants (yes, this is real) to the big game where they will be cut up like cow meat by the New England Patriots.
The Giants won against all odds to get to the Super Bowl. They had to go through frigid below-0 temps in Green Bay to win. Add in a field goal kicker who couldn't hit anything for 4 quarters and it looked like a gimme for the Pack. However, that's why they play the game.
Old man Farve couldn't get his game going and despite everything the Giants held on to force OT. That's where Corey Webster's interception of a struggling Brett Favre created the unlikely scenario where Eli Manning is headed toward the Super Bowl.
