Emily Sander, the Kansas college student also known as Zoey Zane, will be buried Thursday, according to local media reports.
Officials said the Kansas attorney general's office will take a lead role in the Emily Sander homicide case.
El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren tells the Wichita Eagle that the Butler County Attorney's office asked for the attorney general's involvement.
Emily Sander, an 18-year-old student at Butler County College, disappeared late Nov. 23 after leaving a bar with Israel Mireles outside El Dorado.
The case received national attention when it was revealed that Sander lived a secret life as Internet porn performer Zoey Zane.
The pornographic website for Zoey Zane that featured photos of Emily Sander has been replaced with a page that lists details about the case and information about a $3,288 reward for information that leads to the capture of Israel Mireles.
