$15 Starbury Shoes At Steve And Barry's

We were quite pleased when Steve and Barry's opened up a store in South Knoxville earlier this year. With shirts and clothes under $15, it's the celebrity line-up like the Starbury shoes that sell for $15 that is really starting to get attention.

Steve and Barry's Starbury shoe is endorsed by NBA players Stephon Marbury and Ben Wallace. While Steve and Barry's will claim that the shoe is the same caliber as the $110 Nikes, the fact that a corporation would market a major sports name and product at such a low price point is gaining national attention.

In April 1st 2007, Stephon Marbury released yet another pair of low-price NBA quality sneakers known as the "Starbury Two". This shoe will also be endorsed by current Chicago Bulls player Ben Wallace. Wallace now also has his own shoe, the "Big Ben" which is due out this holiday season.

Steve and Barry's offers affordable clothes and shoes by cutting their overhead on stores and advertising. They usually move their stores into abandoned strip malls or department stores to save on building costs. In South Knoxville, the Steve and Barry's moved into a building once occupied by Wal-Mart, which moved into a new Supercenter 2 miles south. New nearby Steve and Barry's will open up in Chattanooga and Birmingham.

Despite the low costs of their clothes, many celebrities have signed on to help support making clothes affordable. Besides the Starbury line, Steve and Barry's has signed Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker, Amanda Bynes, and tennis star Venus Williams.
